Orr, Munro Scott
Munro Scott Orr (1874-1955) was an illustrator, painter and etcher, born in Irvine, Scotland. He was the brother of artist Stuart Orr. Known as Roy he attended Glasgow School of Art and exhibited at the RSA, the RGI, the Walker's Gallery, London, and at the RSW.
Works by Orr are in the collections of East Ayrshire Council, Wellcome Foundation and Bushey Museum and Art Gallery. His last years were spent in Corrie, Isle of Arran, in Benvaren Cottage near his elder brother Stewart's Corrie House.
